direction

How many of us out here know what our direction is ?
Most got into MBA, now completing it,will be taking a nice cozy 9-5 job.. but what next? Do you really wanna keep working in there? for the next 30 yrs!!
its a black hole you falling into.you will never come out of it. you taking up this route only because eeveryone else is. WAIT ! STOP !
take a step back, and look at the bigger picture, do what makes you happy, take up what you want to, aadmi ko kya chahiye ?? duo time ka khana aur teen time ka daaru. uske upar its about choices. I bet you, even with your 50K a month job,you will never have the time or inclination to enjoy the way you really should. Save yourself before the world takes over you.
THEY ARE OUT TO GET YOU!

Porter's Generic Strategy -1

Differentiation:
A differentiation strategy is an ambition of many but achieved by few. People succumb to social/peer pressure and tend to get stereo typed. Thus they limit their scope and tend to compete only on basis of choices they make. At the end of the day, most of the people can be clubbed to be of one kind, with no unique identity. Don't believe it ? Come to SIMSR.
would love to write a few examples but then it might result in mud slinging.
Management lesson learned : Don't change for anyone or anything,be what you are, cause everyone is unique!

Porter's 5 forces

Porter's 5 forces play an important rule in our life, our actions to an extent are governed by these forces acting on us and the given situation.
As an example let me talk about Porter's 5 forces and their application when you like someone.
Rivalry:
Look at present Bf(if any), Ex BFs(Their relationship duration, time since break up,how close are they) this affects the "detachment" levels they have with their ex.
Also check out potential/present competitors. Try and do a SWOT for them and attack their weaknesses, exploit their threats.

Buyers Power:
Your Distinctive competitive advantage could be anything, ranging from your intelligence, personal traits or even your wallet size in some cases!

Supplier Power:
Find her weak spots this lowers her barriers towards accepting you.

Threat of New entrants:
If the girl is talkative, overtly friendly such signals maybe interpreted by others as low entry barriers.Be careful while entering such markets.

Threat of substitute products:
Presence of girls in same locus of acquaintance. Even a simple smile to another girl may set the time bomb ticking. Think about entering other markets only if no possible value creation in present one.

What the hell is this blog all about?

Strategy - The meaning behind our actions.
I believe strategy is a term whose use should not be restricted to boardrooms of companies, it is omnipresent.Every step we take, every move we make has an underlying reason, these reasons point us to our goals, achievements and ambitions.
Why do we behave in a particular manner?
Why do we dislike certain people?
How do we behave with people whom we like?
I feel the answer to all these questions lies in the complex set of objectives we have about our relationships with people, and these objectives guide us in our behaviour, that my friends is how "true" strategy is formed. I would use this blog to talk about management buzzwords and try and establish a reasoning behind them which pertains to human behaviour
